Running Technique 2

If you are interested in distance running you should really consider your foot strike -- studies suggest that at least 30% of runners get injured every year, and many of these injuries stem from problems that arise in the foot or lower leg. Improving the underlying biomechanical technique increases efficieny, strength and durability:

Forefoot Striking Barefoot:

Produces Minimal Impact Force with No Impact Transient


Heel Strike in Shoes:

Produces Significant Impact Transient
