Great Article
Explains how to schedule your training sessions, the basics are:
1) First do a 5-10 minute low impact cardio routine to warm-up
2) Do strength weight training first
3) Next longer cardio work like a 30 minute run
4) Speed work bursts towards the end of the run
5) Yoga and stretches last

Wounded Warrior Race Events
coming up in June: Half, 10K, and 1K fun run
here's a race review from last year:
Shari Barnes says:
"I loved this event..Yes, it was very hot and humid, and my time was terrible (Just a beginner folks), but the atmosphere was amazing, and the cause truly worthy. Parking was easy, there were plenty of water stations, and everything went smooth. My husband had a blast as a spectator, and was impressed with the military presence.. overall just a great day.. can't wait until next year!"

Ft Worth Zoo 5K Run
The 5K this past weekend was fun. I did pretty well, placed 5th in my age group, 138 overall in 6000+ racing. It was really pretty weather to be out in it! This group photo is of my coworkers in the race.
